Kofax RPA
I was the technical lead on the implementation and roll-out of the Kofax RPA system within a large NHS trust. This involved the design of system architecture, implementation of the system itself, and introducing several automated business processes within the organisation during a successful pilot.
Optimise:MS
As part of an ongoing multiple sclerosis clinical study, I developed an automation to assist research staff in their data entry tasks. This removed the admin overhead for staff, leading to improved data quality and more time spent delivering patient care.
Kainos Evolve Forms
I was the technical lead on the implementation and roll-out of the Kainos Evolve Forms system within a large NHS trust. This involved significantly extending the existing toolkit in order to meet the organisation’s complex business requirements.
Procedure Code Prediction
I developed a machine learning algorithm to predict OPCS4 procedure codes from a text prompt. This has a variety of use cases, including the assistance of clinical coding staff in their daily roles, and is used in multiple back end processes where data quality has proven to be an issue.
Acute Take List
I developed a website for doctors and consultants to assist with acute medical take and handover. This has significantly reduced clinical risk by ensuring that patient data is recorded consistently and accurately in A&E departments across 3 hospitals.
Doctor’s Handover
Similar to the Acute Take List, I developed a website for doctors and consultants to assist with medical take and handover on wards across 3 hospital sites. This has also significantly reduced clinical risk by replacing paper processes with an enterprise grade clinical system.
HealthViews Adoption
I worked on the handover of architecture and source code of a legacy system which is no longer supported by a supplier. This involved attending handover workshops with the supplier, then providing ongoing support and maintenance to a 30 year old clinical system.
Everywhere Music
This is a personal project of mine where I developed an Android app that streams music from a PC to a phone or tablet, meaning that your entire music collection is available on your devices.
